Cavendish School of English Ltd. Takes over Exceptional Coach Company.
We are delighted to announce that Exceptional Coach Company Ltd (trading as Victory Tours) has been acquired by Cavendish School of English Ltd. Initially taking on a fleet of 15 vehicles from both Victory Tours and the former Roadliner, we are looking forward to expanding the fleet over the coming year.
The new company is being rebranded as Cavendish Liner Ltd. and over the coming months you will begin to see coaches in our new livery. We look forward to working with new and old partners alike and are keen to assist within the industry where we have capacity to do so.
The new Cavendish Liner management team is headed by Marcus and Jane Panke from Cavendish School of English, who become joint Managing Director and joint Office Director of both businesses. Former managing director Mark Self has departed with immediate effect.

We are delighted to announce that during the changeover to Cavendish Liner, the team has remained largely unchanged here at Cavendish Liner. Arthur “Mitch” Mitchell will be taking on the role of General Manager. Shaun Haden has remained as Traffic Officer and will be preparing quotations and assisting customers with their requirements as quickly as possible.
Our Transport Manager Rick Tabor will continue to use his years of experience in the industry to maintain the standards that are required by a modern coach company. We are committed to excellence in safety and reliability. Rick will be ensuring that our coaches and drivers meet your expectations every time you use us.
Sue Mitchell will be continuing her role as Accounts Manager and can be contacted for any payment related issues or queries.
Drivers Required.
Due to the unexpected demand in the first few weeks of taking over the business we are very keen to hear from local drivers who are looking to work for a dynamic new business. Our drivers will be touring Europe as well as continuing our client contract and private hire work. We look set to have a busy 2010 so contact us to find out more.
Language School Services
Cavendish Liner is pleased to announce a new service for 2010. The Cavendish Liner Language School service is an exciting new service designed to meet the particular requirements of Language Schools. We have considerable experience in transporting foreign students from Europe as well as on excursions and for transfers.
Services available include:
- Daily Routes for your language students
- Very competitive Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airport transfers (minibus through to full sized coaches)
- Activities - Need to get students to Tower Park?
- Excursions 1 – You name the destination and provide the guide.
- Excursions 2 – You name the destination and we will provide the guide. Our guides are fully trained to work with foreign students.
- Excursions 3 – We do everything for you. Fully Guided Tours with our in house trained guides (inc. London, Stonehenge, Portsmouth, Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Purbeck tour, and many more.)
- “Powered By: Language Learners Ltd.” We will ensure your customers know that they are travelling with your company. We will brand your journey with logos to match your company. Your company’s logo or name can be represented on the side of any of our vehicles.
